I can't say enough good things our Viking cruise. We had a veranda cabin and it was very spacious. The veranda was not really needed in November but it gave us great view of the locks. From the moment you get off the plane, Viking takes care of you. The included tours in each port are more than enough to get to know the ports. We took several optional tours and would highly recommend the beer culture of cologne tour! Also the medival city of Colmar was fascinating and had time for shopping. The dining room staff were all very friendly. There is no assigned seating so you can meet new people at every meal. There were terrific soups every day. That was great after those cold days touring Germany and France. Entertainment was good in the lounge and drink prices are reasonable. This is not really a party ship as you are getting up early to tour. Overall, I highly recommend Viking.
