Cabin:

We chose Viking because of the advertised quality of the cruise and Viking exceeded our expectations in virtually every way. Our cabin was new, spacious and very comfortable. The variety of restaurants was outstanding and we were always pleased with our meals. The only exception were the fried eggs at breakfast which were sometimes overdone.

We went on virtually every complimentary excursion and were able to go on several additional excursions. All were well conducted with knowledgeable tour guides. During our at sea days we took in the spa and the exercise room. The enrichment activities (seminars) centered on the Vikings and were one of the highlights of the trip. Another highlight was afternoon tea with snacks and live classical music.

Our cabin crew were excellent and were always able to accommodate our needs.

Bergen

We went up the Funicular on our own as it was walking distance from the ship.
