We had a wonderful first cruise experience when we travelled the Rhine with Viking a few years ago. We decided then that Viking was our choice for future cruises. When they offered "Viking Homelands," we knew that was a cruise not to miss!
This ship is beautiful, very clean, and well appointed. Our cabin was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. (Especially loved the heated bathroom floors.) Our cabin stewards were friendly, efficient, and provided excellent service.
We didn't take advantage of the on-board sauna, but did enjoy the walking deck every day. Shopping aboard was fun--very good quality merchandise as well as local items were available.
Cabin Review
Cabin was nicely appointed, with many thoughtful amenities, and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was good size, with a lovely shower and heated floor. Cabin stewards were friendly, helpful, efficient, and provided excellent service.
