I chose this cruise because I had never been to any of the ports except to Key West. I read that the ship recently was refurbished, but it looked a little run down, especially the rusted balconies and dirty windows throughout.

The food was above average. I appreciated that there is someone to serve you at the buffet. Anytime dining was a joke; you waited in line, and when the lobby filled up, you were instructed to go to the bar on another deck and wait there until your beeper rang. The crowd is older and going to another deck was something they were not going to do. Of course, one evening a small argument ensued.

Entertainment was mediocre. No BB King which was advertised when I first booked. One night the main entertainment was a BBC video. If you wanted to listen to contemporary music, a small lounge was available. There was always a good movie in the lounge. We sat in the theater for the Super Bowl party. What was interesting was that my boyfriend bought a "package" which included a front row seat in a leather chair, unlimited drinks, "football food" not typical food that Americans eat at football parties, and Bud sunglasses and glass. What I found annoying was why everyone else ate and didn't pay for it.

Great location: close to ship, on same side as dining room and Lido buffet. Spacious and very clean. Verandah looked a little run down with all the rust..
