Not the best of cruises ... thanks to Queensland's notorious February weather. Had to question the wisdom of Princess Cruises sending one of their ships north from Brisbane and into the tail end of a cyclone and monsoonal weather!

As expected, we encountered high seas for much of the voyage, missing out all but one port ... and that stop was only possible on the way back to Brisbane after first abandoning it on our way north. Cairns, Port Douglas and scenic sailing around Willis Island. also had to be abandoned.

Luckily, we were able to anchor off Airlie Beach and spend a few hours on dry land after battling rough weather for five days. Then a small hop to Brisbane and we were home!

Great cabin with a huge window. Very comfortable. Generally quiet except when the side thruster is being used.
