My friends chose this cruise. We wound up with an inside cabin, it was comfortable and more room than I expected. Embarkation was miserable, only one entrance point available and went very very slowly. Entertainment was wonderful - only criticism was that there was a different show every night so did not get to see them all. The fist comedian was funny, but a little mean to guests in the audience. The second comedian was much funnier. They chose terrible movies to show for this cruise. Food was mostly tasty, but only warm not hot when served on buffet and in dining room. Sky bar great, liquid lounge service great as was in the limelight lounge. Only bad service was at the atrium bar. Three servers too busy folding napkins to take order. The bingo caller guy was hilarious. Massage was good, but almost twice what I pay on land - and not worth that much more. Had fun playing putt putt golf. Loved the tea time - it was a nice experience. Matt the cruise director was soooo funny and had a lot of energy. Shopping in DR was ridiculous - locals pulling on your clothes and walking in your way to get you to stop. Had a lot of difficulty with the internet plan purchased - never had this much trouble on the other cruises and guest services not very helpful about resolving it. Sky ride worth the exercise to do it, but lines very long. The female staffer who had us dancing while exercising made me sweat and laugh while doing it - it was loads of fun. Bar-B-Que place and tasting table difficult to find, but worth the trouble. Thanks to the Captain we were able to make all the ports despite the inclement weather. I wish we could take most of the staff from this ship and combine it with the food from the Glory.
