Sail Date: Feb 2018

We have sailed on many cruise lines and this was our 4th trip with Norwegian. It was an average experience. The food was good but not outstanding. The service was also good but there many opportunities for improvement in moving the people and accommodating requests.

A good variety of entertainment from the shows in the evening to the smaller lounges with a variety of music. The shore excursions left something to be desired. They were considerably more costly than the same sightseeing if arranged not through NCL. Many people crowded into buses or on small ships ( in the case of canal viewing). Information from the shore excursion desk prior to sailing was not consistent with what was told to us on the ship.

It was also annoying that many things were an additional upcharge and they were frequently selling 'raffle tickets' to use toward another cruise.
