Six of us chose this lifelong dream of cruising the Hawaiian Islands (2 married couples and 2 singles). Our cruise was February, 2018. There seem to be excitement among everyone, not just us, while getting ready to board the ship. Boarding and disembarkation went very smooth. None of us were disappointed at the elegance, beauty, and first class appearance of the ship, our rooms, the restaurants, the staff, the food, and the excursions we went on! You were definitely treated like royalty and all the work crew and staff were very knowledgeable in helping with a great attitude and smile. The food was wonderful in everyday dining and in the specialty restaurants we chose! Even the days you didn't have an excursion, the free shuttles from the boat or the $20 /day hop on/hop off buses were wonderful ways to see the high points of each island. The shore excursions are a must! The 2nd day in Oahu we did Pearl Harbor excursion which is a must! Very moving. We did the Lahaina shopping trip, Fern Grotto River Trip ending at the beautiful falls, and the plantation train ride and Luau. The Luau was magnificent and our favorite. The bus drivers for excursions gave background info while taking you places which was most informative. My friends also took the helicopter excursion and the Best of Maui. We also saw whales which was exciting. The ship also sailed by the live volcano about 11:00 p.m. where you could see the red glowing lava going down the mountain and to the ocean. There were so many activities on the ship, you had your choice of a variety of things to do. The ship put on a first class Super Bowl party decorated in the two teams colors in the theater that was exciting and a lot of fun. The ship passengers and crew in the buffet style Aloha Café were all so friendly. You could tell people were relaxing and enjoying their families and friends.
