I was disappointed with this cruise. I will have to think long and hard before I would agree to next Royal Caribbean cruise.
The theme of the cruise was to sell, sell, sell. From the minute you enter to the ship, they were trying to sell you something: drink packages, excursions, beach apparel, artwork, dinners in the restaurant, next cruise, etc... Constantly on every TV channel, daily newspaper, flyers, and daily activities they are selling you something.
Food was mediocre at best. We ate all our meals at buffet or in the main dining room. Selection of the food in the buffet was good, however, it was always crowded. Seating was limited and we would have to wait sometimes for 20 minutes to get a table. We had to do self-service from getting our own beverages to clearing our dirty dishes. We had some of our dinners in the main restaurant and we were disappointed. I honestly think they went to the buffer to get our food. The selection in the dining room was about the same as in the buffer but more limited. I expected to see more seafood options than cod, salmon and shrimp. You could BUY a lobster tail with a steak for additional $40... Service was slow and it took two hours to get 3 course meal. Needless to say we did not comeback after two dinners. By the way, dinner rolls were delicious, I must have ate dozen of it.
Cabin was spacious for 2 of us. We loved having a balcony.
We spent all day on a beach
We loved the Key West and we drove back after the cruise to spend 2 more days in there.
