This was my first cruise. We got on the ship late due to fog. They changed our destination from Cozumel to Progresso at the last minute. Once we got on the ships, the food was awful, the shops were closed. I was told i could bring a 12 pack of pepsi in my luggage. Lady did not say we had to carry it on. So the security confiscated it until i threw a fit.The safe in the room would not work. When they would clean the room they would give us the previous day itinerary. We went to guest service alot and no help what so ever. We upgraded from an inside room to an ocean view and was suppose to have twin beds it had a full size bed. After we finally got off the ship and headed back home, I called customer care number and all she would say is I am sorry. I told the lady that i would never cruise carnival again and that we deserved something for the inconvenience that we were put through. She said she would give me a 50 dollar on board credit. Which would not do any good because the shops would be closed.
For a first time cruiser I was most definitely not impressed or satisfied with carnival. Take my advice and FIND ANOTHER CRUISE LINE
