Have sailed Costa before. Romantica and Fortuna. Cruises were good ports were great. Ships were clean and comfortable. However, 2/2/18 we sailed from Fort Lauderdale at 11 PM. The food was not very good, the entertainment was so-so, the ship was beautiful. our server (they don't call them waiters anymore) was excellent. Our cabin attendant was excellent. There were no amenities whatsoever. 1. No bar service at pool. 2. No towel service at pool. 3. No free ice tea. 4. No decaf coffee (except out of a package). 5. No cream for coffee at buffet restaurant. 6. Main course food under or overcooked at most of the dinners. 7. Drink packages were outrageous. 8. Soft drink packages were limited. 9. White wine only 2 choices. My daughter met with head of Food and Beverage. She was told, because their clientele is 85% European (mostly Italian) they were catered to. That would be ok if the whole ship was European. There were about 350 Americans, 150 Canadians and about 100 from the United Kingdom. That is 600 out of about 2000 passengers. They seemed not to care. Will not cruise with Costa again. That seemed to be the overall feeling of all English speaking people that I met and talked with.

Cabin was large enough, and clean thanks to our attendant Rey.
Balcony was small.
We had 4 rooms in a row and they refused to open the partitions for us.
