Got a good price for this cruise, and a friend had never been to Singapore, Thailand, nor Vietnam, so we went for it! Embarkation was very quick and smooth, even though Celebrity sent mixed messages to passengers beforehand. We stayed in a cabin on Deck 2 and were asked to embark at 6:30pm even though our Dining Room was scheduled for 6:15pm. Took forever for Celebrity to reply to my email asking how this could make any sense. When they did reply, they skirted the question and just advised to embark anytime we wanted. Huh??? Cabin was fine, food was decent, only went to Oceanview Cafe and San Marco Dining Room, and Cafe Al Bacio. Skipped Specialty Dining altogether. Breakfast choices were very boring, but lunches and dinners were fine. Hard to believe that a cruise ship these days could actually run out of bananas halfway through the trip, but it actually happened. Entertainment in Celebrity Theatre was so so. Enjoyed Jeff Luhn's Beyond The Podium lectures. Informative and mixed in with some dry humour, very good speaker indeed. Missed out on Nha Trang port of call due to rough waters in port. Not that I'm complaining when someone gives me money, but there was no explanation as to why I received $15.38 USD in additional onboard credit on Feb 6th, very strange. This was my fourth Celebrity cruise, so perhaps might be time to give some of my future cruise business to another company...Oceania, Holland America, Princess???
