We chose the cruise for the itinerary and it didn’t disappoint. The ports of call were all terrific, lots of options to explore and the scenic cruising to Cape Horn, along the Beagle Channel, and through the fjords of Chile was gorgeous. The King Penguins in the Falkland Islands were an absolute highlight.

But the ship experience itself wasn’t a highlight. The food was mediocre, the dining room felt hectic rather than upscale and relaxing. It’s a massive ship and you just felt part of marketing and big business the whole time. However, given the size, they are excellent at embarkation and disembarkation and tenders.

The first evening show from the Buenos Aires School of Tango was a fabulous show. The best entertainment of the trip by far.

Cabin B1

It was standard Princess balcony cabin. It was a great location midship and on the 12th floor.
