I booked the cruise through Expedia and got a good deal. The boat was old. The people were old. I honestly felt like it was a giant convalescent home. It was like the type of crowd that you see in a bad casino. The weather on the trip was bad. Our shore excursion was cancelled. I spent a lot of time in my stateroom since I do not drink; watching the awful choice of TV channels that re-run their programming daily. The cruise director was hilarious and did help raise my spirits but I really wanted to just go home. I think the worst part is that I got a gift certificate from a family member to use on board the cruise which Royal Caribbean says has expired and they refuse to refund the money so there is more $$$ down the drain. What a shame, but a learning experience nonetheless.
Cabin was clean and housekeeping staff was excellent.
Got some good weather for a change. Packed like a sardine on a small beach while poor Mexicans tried to sell us things incessantly. At least the weather was nice.
Just was corralled into the small tourist area. Windy and rainy.
