To say this ship is large is an understatement. Boarding went very quickly and we went first to our stateroom. Luggage arrive about 2 hours later. The 32 in. TV was impressive, although the content was mostly the same...Lucy, 2 1/2 Men, etc. Touring the ship was next. Plenty of elevators and mostly not full. Lots to do on this ship and it takes about 2 days to really find your way around.

Meals in the Opal Dining room (we had My Time Dining, which worked well) were average; service was excellent. The Windjammer on the 15th deck was much improved over previous ships although it was very crowded most of the time. Good variety of food. We'd recommend Sorrento's Pizza on the Prominade Deck and the Park Cafe in Central Park..both busy but excellent food.

The main problem was leaving the ship when our cruise was over. We were in Group 74 and didn't get off the ship until almost 10 AM. Also, we came into Port Everglades at about 4:30 AM and were on the starboard side, next to the debarkation building. It was very noisy and we didn't get much sleep after arriving.

Cabin Review

Cabin bal

Closet had plenty of hangars. Balcony door didn't let in wind noise. Toilets seemed quieter. Shower still relatively small (round). Room seemed pretty quiet. Enough room undr bed (BIG) for suitcases. Too few outlets, none in bathroom. Couldn't hear announcements from cabin. No position, temperature info, wind info, etc. on TV..just bow camera which was kind of useless. Interactive TV did have lots of info re entertainment, account details, etc.
