Old ship, showing her age. Many of the public areas seem to have been converted to specialty restaurants during prior renewals of the ship and this distracted from the beauty of the ship. Certainly not a 5 star cruise. Maybe years ago it was. We saw no significant differences from other RCL ships or other so called 4 or 4 and one half star cruise ships. The dining experience in the Main Dining Room was crowded and the service and food was just average. The bar service was uneven. The Buffet section of the ship was at times crowded and confusing - as it is on many other ships.

This Asia itinerary was interesting but most of the ports were far away from the points of interest. The industrial ports that were visited were not developed for tourists. The information that was provided by Celebrity regarding the ports was poor. For example, on our first full day aboard ship in Hong Kong - a relatively new port facility developed for visitors but located far from public transit and the center of town, we were assured that taxis could be accessed at the port. We got up and waited at the taxi stand for 25 minutes and could not find a taxi. This ship had over 2000 passengers and yet the ship apparently did not make any provision to assist anyone to get into town.
