I went on the cruise because of the special scrapbooking event. The ship was great! Overall, wonderful experience. I loved the servers playing music outside the Windjammer restaurant each morning. Their food variety was amazing! American Icon Grill was wonderful overall. We sat at the same table each night and got to know our waiters. They were professional and very attentive to our wants. The food was excellent. I did have a couple of hiccups with food and service at Chops Grill, one of the upscale restaurants where you pay. I don't feel I got my money's worth here. You can get a steak from Chops at the American Icon Grill for less than $20 extra dollars and the basically same meal at Chops was $45, not really worth that amount. Excursions were well organized and I enjoyed them all especially the Labadee, Haiti private island. The lunch provided was on par with the Windjammer food, very nice. Overall, I would cruise with RCCL again, but I would not spend extra money on dining in the additional money restaurants. The Hot Dog place on Deck 6 was excellent also and no extra charge..
