Sail Date: Feb 2018
Cabin: Mid-Ship Oceanview Picture Window

This was our first cruise with NCL having previously cruised 27 times mainly with RCI and Celebrity. We chose this for the intinerery , price and the date.

The Spirit is an old ship and it shows in many places . We had an outside picture window on deck 5 midship which was small but good enough. We bid for a balcony but where not successful, having talked to other people who got the upgrade paying less than we bid we assume we did not get ours because we were first time cruisers with NCL.

Cons

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Oceanview Picture Window

Cabin OB

Small cabin with even smaller bathroom . Any one tall or over weight would realy struggle in the toilet as it is a seperate compartment within the bathroom.

Wardrobe doors do not lock closed so slide in bad weather.

Smell of sewerage some days.

When beds are pushed together it is not easy to sit up in bed as they are immediately infront of the window.

Port Reviews

Casablanca

Dirty and smelly market area

Malaga

Madeira (Funchal)
