This time only a short review, it's christmas eve and I am too lazy for more :-)

This was our 9th cruise, 3rd this year and 2nd to the Carribean. Had been on Carnival Miracle to the Eastern Carribean before, see http://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=22241

Embarkation: Came by car to FLL, took the rental car shuttle to terminal 18. Free of charge, quick and easy. Embarkation was not done in 15 minutes as promised, but the 25 minutes from entering the terminal to get to the cabin were still quite OK. Took longer than necessary due to very unqualified employees at the checkin counters. There were not too many people (fortunately) and they had lots of counters open, but they have to train the people to know what to do. Total chaos, at least it felt like it.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Large Balcony

Cabin D1

D1 cabin 7592 is at the left edge of the starboard cabins with extended balcony. So that means the balcony is a little smaller then for the cabin to the right, but still much bigger than the normal balconies. Too bad that for the higher price you do not get other chairs on the balcony, there would be enough space for it.

Cabin size OK for two, bath and shower small but nice. Liked the big flat screen TV, but the interactive communication system needs a lot of improvement still.

Good to have one european 220V power outlet in addition to the US under the table, so no adapter was needed for us here.
