Normally we cruise on the smaller ships. Now 70+ cruises under our belt. Because of all the TV advertising of the Harmony we decided to give it a try. Our cabin was on deck 3 cabin 3654 next to the elevator right below where you board. It was a perfect location. When you exit the ship in port, you return and go up an escalator , yes escalator. Where does it take you. About 50 feet from our state room. How nice. If you think it is like a mall, it is. The boardwalk was tranquil and so very nice. The shows were all excellent. The comedian stunk. Old jokes. The juggler was so, so. All the trivia was excellent. All the small gatherings were excellent. They had a copy of the Family Feud called the Friendly Feud. it was also excellent. I have no idea why some say it was super crowded. it was not even close to that. We had on board 6100 guests not including the thousand of employees. All are mostly scattered throughout the ship. The only time there was any crowd was when the had a show in the middle of the ship. Everyone wanted to watch. Big deal. Even with that, it was not bad at all. Never any pushing or shoving. Everyone could not have been any nicer or helpful. Just excellent. Now for the food. After 70+ cruises we almost never go to the dining room. The buffet is for us. We were told as for the guests thy had over 60 different nationalities on board. The buffet reflect it. They had just about anything you could think of. Always the perfect temperature. The food was nothing but excellent. Example, On Carnival if you want a chocolate covered strawberry you buy it. If you want carrot cake, you buy it. On here they were walking around giving them to anyone. The strawberries were gigantic and available most all the time. With or without chocolate. How about fresh make crepes. When was the last time you had those. Yes they had several fruits for them. All fresh. I love mashed potatoes. Not only did they have them everyday for lunch and dinner. They were perfectly made. How about this. We were told if you check out the dining room menu and you see something on it they did not have at the buffet. They will get it for you. WoW! Found that out when I saw a person with a New York strip and wanted to know were they were. I only have one negative thing and that is our preference, really nothing against the ship. We like sitting in the cassino and looking out while enjoying a drink. Not on the Harmony. You can see out only in the dining rooms or the buffet or just go out on an upper deck. That is it. Otherwise. I totally recommend you go on the oasis class ships. The new Symphony will probable be even better. Normally onj the 6th evening we start to slow up and are ready to debark. Not this time. The week flew by so fast. So much to see and do. I could go on and on. Do it, you will love it. Loke going to Vegas and seeing the shows, like going to a beautiful mall, like going to exquisite restaurants and other locations. Super nice and big casino. Did I mention, awesome for the younger people. Kids and teenagers. So fantastic for them. Happy sailing :-)

Cabin Review

Large Interior Stateroom

Cabin N

Cabin had a lot smaller closets than normal. However, they were sufficient and by doing that. The cabin had more room. The light in front of the mirror was not bright enough for her or me. Shaving and here putting on her makeup. Not good at all. The TV was basically mounted in the wall (Almost) it was very big. About 46 inch. Awesome. Only problem. two news and two sports channels. All the other channels were ship channels. The head? It was as usual, small. But the shower was something to be bragging about. it was all glass (Plastic maybe) Large and comfortable. A large curved door for entry and exit. bet the room stuarts hate it. A Lot of cleaning to keep it looking beautiful.
