Sail Date: Feb 2018
Cabin: Verandah Stateroom

First and foremost, the passengers on board all tended to be senior, with an average age of 75. Lot's of scooters, walkers and wheelchairs. Lots of slow moving people. What would you prefer: Lots of children or lots or seniors? I'll take the latter any day!

Pros (in order of importance):

Food! Every single meal was gourmet.. like $200 back home. Foie Gras, Escargot, Sweetbreads, Frogs Legs, Duck breast, Osso Bucco, Beef Wellington... you get the picture. Every meal was a home run.

Cabin Review

Verandah Stateroom

Cabin B4

Near the very back of the ship. Nicely appointed. Loads of storage. We didn't even use all of it. full tub with shower and separate shower stall. Balcony looks down to an extended balcony on deck 7; it wasn't an issue as any view was unobstructed.

Being at the aft, we could hear and feel the engines. This too didn't bother us, but given the choice, we'd pick a cabin in the center. I do think the back is better then the front, but the middle is the best.
