I was looking for a relaxing vacation that was longer than the standard week, cruises popped up as an option and a two week cruise sounded like the perfect idea!

I was able to relax and read, thanks to many days at sea! We had three port days, a sea day, and then three more port days -- it provided adequate downtime and then when we reached port I was ready to go and explore! This itinerary was a change from the original, which had 8 ports schedule (it changed due to hurricane damage, completely understandable).

The Breakaway is definitely in need of dry dock time, but it's clean and has been kept up as well as possible with passenger wear and tear.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B6

The large balcony was quite enjoyable to have! We had a lot of wind on our trip, so I wasn't able to use it quite as much as I would have liked, but that is out of our control. It provided a quiet space to read, nap, and relax, which is exactly what I was looking for!

The cabin is quite spacious. It was nice to have a coffee pot available for the mornings I was awake early and didn't want breakfast yet. There is a ton of storage in the room -- a big closet and then shelves by the TV. There were also large drawers under the couch that I didn't discover until a few days into the trip! I was traveling solo, so this space was not needed, but if three people were in the room it would have been useful.
