Embarkation was very busy especially since we had VIP privileges, found out later that 600 cruisers had VIP status. most ever for a cruise. Since the ship had come from NY empty we could get to our rooms early. We were part of the John Heald's Bloggers cruise and found most of the group to be great fun.

As for the food it was great, prepared perfectly in Scarlet dining room, Lido and Steakhouse. Our headwaiter Katerina and her assistant Laslo could not have been better. Katerina asked our names at the first dinner and from then on it was Mr. Mike and Miss. Linda. We had no problem in Lido as we were early risers and ate breakfast between 7 and 7:30 am Lunch was also early, Using the Deli when we had early shore excursions, Lunch in the dining room was good as we asked for Katerina. Steakhouse was awesome, servers were proper as a formal restaurant should be. Ken the Matre'D has such a beautiful voice and the entertainment the waiters provided added to the experience.

Shows were sooo good. You had to get there early to get a good seat. They are considering going to 3 shows to alleviate the crowding. Comedians very good, again you had to get there early to get a seat.
