Last year we sailed the Disney Dream and loved it. This year we decided to try the Disney Magic. The Magic is a smaller and older ship. It is showing some signs of wear, but overall is well maintained and clean. For what it's worth, we were told it is going into dry dock soon for some maintenance and updates.

As a smaller ship, it was really easy to get around. The midship elevators could get a bit crowded but forward and aft were usually quick moving and often times we had an elevator to ourselves. The only time there was a really long wait for elevators was right after a major event (the pirate party etc). We were always able to find a seat near the pool and at the buffet.

Restaurants were good.

Cabin Review

Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah

Cabin 00V

Cabin was a good size. Loved the split bath. Cabin was quiet. Did not notice any excess noise from halls, neighboring rooms or deck above. Room was clean. Some areas in bathroom were showing wear, but nothing terrible. Wished we could have kept the room a bit cooler. Even with the AC on max, it always seemed a bit warm. At 6' 4", my husband was a little too tall/long to be comfortable on the bed (his feet hung off the end), but we understand the space constraints of ship cabins. All in all, no major complaints about the room.

Key West

Key West is beautiful. Many points of interest are within walking distance, and if you want to avoid the expense of an excursion, going off on your own is fun and easily doable.
