Choose this cruise at the expo in Melbourne in October. Very disappointed. 4th day in,our cabin got flooded through no fault of ours. If we hadn't approached management I don't think any thing would have been done. We had stewards in our room for the next three days trying to dry it off with equipment that didn't appear to be doing much. Eventually they relayed new carpet. Disappointed with the day time activities, as we don't do bingo, trivia, or cards or board games. Night time intertainment was good, but had to get to the theatre 40 minutes early to get a seat. Understand why they couldn't go into Mildfred Sound because of the weather, but to advertise Auckland and then be told by email it wasn't happening because ship was travelling to slow to reach Melbourne in time. False advertising. Tender boats they have them there, use more of them so people don't have to spend so much time waiting to go on and off at some ports. Our Stewart Jeffrey was really good. Meals were ok but seem to go off a bit on second week. Had to BUY a decent cup of coffee. And to top it all off my husband and I got some bug which has taken me 10 days to get over it, and my husband is still suffering. Never again, one and only cruise for us. Even though we are retired people there was soo many old obese people, so many walking frames so many electric chairs. If we had been told it was mainly geriatric people I don't think we would have done this cruise. Don't get me wrong we have the greatest respect for the elderly, but this was just too much.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BB

Cabin was comfortable until the carpet got flooded, and eventually new carpet relayed. Bed was comfortable, our steward did a great job. Clean towels twice a day was nice. Balcony was nice but it's not very private, even though you cannot see anyone you certainly can hear everything.
