Overall--a very nice cruise with some exceptions. Weather held and seas were flat. First stop Jamaica-- Ocho Rios. A dump. Don't get off the ship at this location. A plea to NCL to vacate this stop. Caymen Islands were what you expected. The NCL private island may have been the highlight. Clean, first class all the way. Would have been nice to spend a second day here. Last stops Costa Maya and Cozumel were what one expected.

We ate at three specialty restaurants and found that "Bamboo" had especially bad food. A cubed chicken dish pretended to be an Asian dish of some kind. The water bottle issue continues to be a mystery. Filled water bottles are not listed in the "Prohibited Items" page and there are no signs at the security embarkation station that states this. Of course once you're on the ship with your now empty bottle, filling it is another challenge. Signs clearly state bottles cannot be refilled at the water station for glasses so you have to fill water glasses and do your best to fill w/o spilling the contents. Hey NCL how about doing what most major US airports do and provide water bottle refilling stations!!? The way it's being done now amounts to a Mickey Mouse operation. The embarkation and disembark process was a nightmare. it took us 70 minutes to get on board and we heard stories of 2 1/2 hour waits. The disembark was just as bad. One would think that as many $$ as the cruise industry brings into Tampa that they could see to it that adequate customs agents are in place.
