Just returned from a 10 day all adult (thank God) charter on Carnival Victory. Ship had recently been in the shipyards being updated, and had all new rooms.

Added was USB charging, but no power plugs at head of beds anymore. Also added motion sensor floor lighting under closets so one doesn’t stub their toe going to restroom at night.

Vent in top of room also changed- cannot be adjusted. Either blows full blast arctic, or you can leave your balcony door cracked to disable the sensor to turn vent off. The brain trust at Carnival really messed this up- frigid or off. Be prepared. Our room steward filled it with towels, which also helped.
