We chose this cruise and cruise line as we like the spacious accommodations, the small group of passengers and that the crew and passengers spoke English. We also heard that the food and the tours were outstanding and without a doubt they were tops. Our Travel agent provided us with three different river cruise lines and we feel we made the right decision. The ship was spotless, our cabin as mentioned was spacious as the boat has no balcony's but provides a slider that allows the occupants about and extra 4 feet of length more. The activities kept us moving all the time. The dinning was fantastic. The menu was terrific and the soups were splendid and were different every meal. The ports and shore excursions were well planned and better than we anticipated. We liked it so much we have asked our travel person to help us pick another river cruise on Avalon. Why change cruise lines is our thoughts. Why eat hot dogs when you know the steaks are great!
