Christmas Markets recommended by friends. First river cruise, will not be our last. Every aspect of the cruise could not have been better. Ship was great, cabin was very nice, plenty of room and lay out of the bed was well planned. Food was always very good, service was excellent, crew was great and Cruise Director was fantastic. The shore excursions were well done and the guides provided were very knowledgeable. Really enjoyed the "up close and personal" entertainment provided. We met wonderful shipmates some of which we will no doubt stay in contact with for years to come. The relaxed and casual atmosphere made getting to know our new found friends much easier. We had a number of folks from Australia, and having spent time in Australia I knew we would be in for a great trip. Aussies are always a lot of fun. We are already planning our next trip with Avalon!!
