We chose this cruise at short notice after returning from a terrible cruise on MSC Seaside. We had cruised with Thomson before on one of the smaller ships and found it okay no better, but this larger ship was much better.Everything on this ship was great, from the entertainment to the food and service. The shows cater for British cruisers, which was just what we liked the most. The breakfasts were the full Monty and drinks in the restaurants were in full flow.Okay the ship is a little old but it was clean and the cruise was good value. We will certainly cruise with Marella again. This cruise visited Belize,Guatamala,Honduras and Cuba, all new countries for cruise ships and so were not too commercialised yet. Most needed an excursion to see anything interesting. But not Cuba,Havana is a great place to visit.Old American cars, old but beautiful buildings and old but crumbling ones too.Overall a great cruise and new countries visited. With more larger ships to come Marella are on the up.
Although small,it was large enough for my wife and myself.
