Cabin: The Haven Spa Suite with Balcony

The Haven restaurant was amazing. Staff was always friendly and knew our names after the first time in the restaurant. Louie, our waiter several times, was very attentive and was exceptional. The food was fantastic!! Our cabin was a Haven Spa suite which had plenty of space for the two of us. Our butler, Const, was wonderful. He brought coffee and pastries every morning, filled our refrigerator with iced tea and lemonade, brought snacks (chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, cheese platters or fruit) every afternoon. He also made sure our ice bucket was always full. We saw him several times every day and always asked if we needed or wanted anything. We ate in 3 specialty restaurants and thought the Haven restaurant was better by far. Our cabin steward, Edwin, made sure our cabin was always spotless and bathroom was filled with clean towels and was also spotless.

The lounge area is very welcoming and the pools very nice and never crowded. The concierge was always smiling and very helpful. There were always lounge chairs available on the sun deck. Our itinerary was changed due to a medical emergency. They turned the ship around about 4 hrs out and returned to Miami port. We left again around midnight and due to that we went to Cozumel Mexico, Costa Maya Mexico, Cayman Islands, and a different port in Jamaica. That really didn’t bother us at all. We did not do shore excursions but did get off the ship in Costa Maya and Cayman Islands. We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the Haven on the Escape. It was definitely worth the extra amount.

On a side note, we both are smokers so the smoking area on deck 19 in the Haven was perfect for us...we didn’t have to search for a place to smoke and there were crew members to bring drinks up to the sun deck area. The Haven area is like being in heaven!!!

Cabin Review

The Haven Spa Suite with Balcony

Cabin H9

Cabin was spacious with lots of drawers and closet space. Balcony was adequate for two people. Very nice and quiet. Bathroom was large and so was shower. We enjoyed our balcony every day.
