We recently cruised on a B2B with another couple. We have been on a few Voyager class ships before as well as Oasis & Allure and enjoyed those cruises very much. The customer service on Oasis this time was terrible. We encountered numerous problems and spent hours at Guest Services trying to get them resolved. I had a $50 onboard credit that they screwed up and I never received while onboard. Finally, I was able to resolve it when I returned home and they did end up crediting my credit card but the cruise was over with by then. They also charged my Seapass account $151.04 erroneously. Thank God I noticed it and when I pointed it out at Guest Services, they said it was for four people for a galley tour. We never signed up for any tours nor did we participate in any. They checked into it and told us an employee must have hit the wrong button by mistake and charged our account so they did take it off.

The food has definitely deteriorated. Even with reservations at the main dining room, we waited anywhere from 15-30 mins. each night for dinner. I am not fussy about food but the quality of the food overall is not like it used to be. Service was slow and the poor waiters looked like staff had been cut and they were practically running to accommodate the guests. On two different occasions in the Windjammer there were large amounts of egg shells in the scrambled eggs at breakfast. Steak was way overcooked at 150 Central Park and had to be sent back twice. Chocolate chip cookies at Park Cafe and Sorrento's, which we've always enjoyed, were so bad they were inedible. Shrimp cocktail was also terrible. We tried to eat it six different times and it was limp and soggy every time. The desserts were nothing like we've had before and the selection was pretty much the same every night. We were given the impression that RCI doesn't care much about their passengers and is more interested in financial gain, as evidenced by the constant upselling. From the minute we set foot onboard, people approached us trying to sell us photo packages, dining packages, spa packages, drink packages. One of them even came over to our table while we were eating in the dining room and tried to get us to purchase a galley tour. This experience was not what we have experienced in the past with RCI and we are considering whether we should cruise with them again.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D7

The cabin was a standard balcony cabin. It was what we had expected and we found it to have adequate storage.
