The Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas is beautiful with a lot of amenities. However, during our cruise, two of our shows were canceled & later rescheduled only for one to not happen at all for what was slated as "Technical Difficulties." It was a disappointment as I was really looking forward to seeing the show from what I had heard about it. In addition, I will still never understand why there are so many children on an inexpensive cruise. Considering my nieces are home schooled, I have to assume since it was early February, these children too where home schooled, but a lot are not home trained & can take away from the cruise experience if you allow them. I strongly suggest an ALL ADULT ONLY cruise. Though staff is constantly wiping down as much as I was sanitizing, I still managed to get sick on my last day of the cruise and I rarely ever get sick in my normal day to day life. I was also disappointed that my pictures were all taken & placed in my folder as an 8x10 thus not allowing me to purchase the smaller options with out paying the 8x10 price so I left with no pictures because I am no paying for what I know I will not be framing. Not every memory requires an 8x10. The staff is great, a little excessive at times so my husband & I kept my "Do Not Disturb" tab up MOST of the time to avoid the extra assertiveness that comes with the staffs normal "accommodating" spirit. Overall though, for this to have been my first cruise on one of the largest cruise ships, I did not let the negative take away from enjoying our anniversary. I met great people along the way who were cruise experts that reminded us to enjoy the moment and in doing so we enjoyed our cruise and all it had to offer including the pre-processed re-microwaved food, keeping in mind, this is a cruise in the middle of the ocean so they work with what they have and do their best :)

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D5

Typical half size of a hotel but having a couch to relax on & a balcony to sit on was enough for me not to mention I was in love with the removable shower head as I have those at home. It's the little things for me and the room was great, relaxing & where we spent a good amount of time.
