I had specialty dining every night = makes a huge difference will food rating! Overall, small ship with great bones. Embarkation/disembark was absolutely the best ever (and I have cruised over 20 times) as it was the only ship in Barcelona which may have helped. On the tours, the guides told us it was the coldest/rainiest times they had seen but Canary's are known for perpetual Spring so not too cold. Funchal by far the most prosperous stop, Casablanca the poorest. Interesting contrast. May need to return to the Canaries during the summer as hot weather makes me feel as if I am truly on vacation. Will skip Rabat/Casablanca for next time - Have heard Marrakesh is the right choice in Morocco.
Interesting group of cruisers this trip - mix of Europeans and Americans. I was surprised that unlike most cruises, Californians like myself were in abundance! No matter which language was spoken, people were generally in happy vacation modes and that always helps everyone enjoy their time.
Cabin was good sized, small balcony but expected that. My cabin was not completely ready but I was so tired I went there while the steward was finishing up - he allowed me to use the room and get in a nap which was sorely needed - will always be grateful!
Liked the location mid-ship, slightly Aft. Elevators were never a problem. Steward was extremely helpful and diligent. Overall, good sized room, tiny balcony.
Embarcation and getting off was excellent!
Did the Rabat tour, guide was a font of knowledge
Toured the Castle, great views.
