A cruise is what you make it.

I can't understand why some people would want to ruin their vacation by arguing or looking for problems. There are a couple of things people might want to do to make their cruise more fun. Leave your politics and bad attitude at home. You're on vacation so relax. Nothing is perfect, so overlook the small stuff. Sure there are some problems that need to be addressed. I've always found the staff willing to do everything they can to resolve a problem, but do yourself a favor and be polite to them. They work hard and you'll get better service.

OK enough of that. Now, how to resolve the rock hard bed. We pack thin air mattresses and a small foot pump to inflate them. We found a very thin air mattress on Amazon. They don't take up much room in our luggage but boy what a difference. Just pump them up slip them under the sheets and wa la problem solved.
