We had done the cruise from Cape Town to Durban the previous year which was a very nice experience therefore, we decided to do the cruise from Durban to the Portuguese Island and Pomene. However, due to a technical problem with the ship, we were not able to complete the itinerary to visit Pomene and was compensated with 20 dollars which I thought was totally inadequate. The shows on board were nice.

We were 7 adults traveling together and had requested to have second seating for dinner but was split into a first and second seating at the Il Covo. However, The manager Luigi managed to accommodate us at 9 pm for dinner. He was really accommodating and his staff was really good.

We were invited for a cocktail to welcome us for the second cruise. Just thought that if they had provided nice snacks and perhaps a T ship or a small momentum, it would have made it very special.

Cabin S3

The cabin was spacious enough but the couch was stained, one curtain wasn't hanging properly and the night frills were loose. However, the housekeeping kept the cabin clean.
