We chose this cruise as we had so enjoyed a fantastic trip with Seabourn Quest in 2016. We wanted to skip a month of Winter and be spoilt whilst doing it.
To rate it 3 stars seems mean, but the trouble is parts of the cruise were 2 star and parts were 4, never did it achieve the 6 stars it clams to be!
Embarkation was a little shambolic, but it was Barbados, so we were not surprised. Welcome aboard was casual and we were ok with that. Our cabin was identical to the one we had on The Quest, so fine for us.
Good cabin, comfy bed, great storage areas. Patheticly small television which cannot be viewed comfortably from the bed or the sofa.
Used the Big Bus hop on hop off. Really good fun, saw lots, walked on the beach, Ocean Drive etc, excellent.
Very pretty place, expensive but very pleasant.
Literally not worth getting the tender across!
Love Aruba, had a lovely walk round, just a nice place to wander, even in the rain!
Very pretty place, enjoyed a wander around the main shopping area. Just a shame our ship was moored so very far out of town.
We looked around the town and found it very welcoming and peaceful. Then booked a local taxi to visit the Salt Pyramids and Flamingo sanctuary. This cost half of the coach trip organised by the ship and meant we had control over how long we spent. Given that the Flamingos are a long way off in the distance, the Salt Pyramids are definitely the highlight!
Embarkation was a little shambolic, but not really surprised by that!
Quite pretty for a little wander round.
Again, quite a pretty place.
Interesting and colourful but very dangerous pavements and kerbs.
Very attractive, well worth a visit.
Carambola beach barbeque day, very enjoyable.
Only really saw the Duty free area, which was huge!
Not that impressed.
Taxi ride worked well.
Interesting for a short visit.
