Me, hubby and son cruised on the Imagination several years ago before the renovations. We had been on 2 RCCL cruises and 1 other Carnival cruise before this one. The smell of pot in the hallway (I know Carnival can't control that)...crowded pool area...waiter rolling his eyes upward when my husband was mentioning to him how he wanted his beef cooked...buffet food was not good. We had a good time. It just was not one of those good memorable cruises when you say "Honey, remember when we were on the Imagination and ......".

Fast forward to September 2009, I booked the Imagination last minute. I work for a major airline and got an incredible deal on an oceanview cabin. Hubby couldn't get off on such short notice, so me and my son went...He's 19.

We got excited when we saw all the new additions and updates on the Internet.
