We are pretty experienced cruisers with different cruise lines but we keep coming back to Celebrity. Our last cruise in September was with MSC - boy, what a change! This was like chalk and cheese.

Service really was outstanding, led by Captain Alex P. His humorous briefings were so funny, for example "We will be sailing at 6 if I can find the ignition key" He was also friendly and visible throughout the cruise. It means such a lot.

The Cruise Director Paul was also very good, not full of himself like many others are but friendly and always about at the pier each day to help. All the rest of the crew were friendly, smiling and wishing you good day when encountering them. Service really was excellent. The only one who didn't look like she was enjoying it was the Entertainment Manager Valentina. Perhaps she was new but she stood out poorly from all the rest.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A1

We had an Aqua class cabin on deck 11 (1102). We chose this because there is no large overhang above and we got plenty of sun. Bathroom is a bit small but the shower has glass doors and a great multi jet water dispenser. It was clean and kept that way by our Room Attendant Jun Jun.We got him to empty the mini bar the first day then used it to keep our own stuff in ( we have to say that our friends on Deck 9 did not have such a clean cabin and had to chase up the cleaning staff and management). I believe the deck 11 cabins are newer than the others and put in when the ship was solsticised.
