Background: I'm 68, husband (we'll call him H) is 72. We are very active. I am hearing impaired. I can hear but many conversations sound mumbled. Yes, I do wear a hearing aid. Forget listening to a speaker. H hears fine. We are Elite members of Celebrity so, thanks to them, we are Diamond RC members. While we cruise most of the time on Celebrity, we did sail one time on Navigator and liked it a lot. We live in Central Florida bout 1 1/2 hours from Port Canaveral.

For a long time I refused to go on the "big" RC ships. I said that 3,000 passengers on Celebrity was about all I could ever stand. Three couples asked us to go with them on Oasis. I gave in because, not only would we be going with friends, but the price was really good and good perks.

So we drive to Port Canaveral and park off-site. No problem. Embarkation was very quick at 1pm. As Diamond members, we could by-pass the long security line. Before going to our cabin, we went to Park Cafe. Not crowded. Got really good sirloin sandwiches.
