We had a desire to visit South east Asia and we felt that a good offer was made price wise for the cruise and 3 extra nights in Singapore, which is wonderful. The inside room was not very large but it was clean and the attendant was good. Food in the restaurants was nearly always good although not a large selection if you do not like seafood and the service was excellent. Happily our 8 person table was filled most nights. The self service was OK with a wider selection but no ambience.

Entertainment as expected but little imagination during the day so the seadays were somewhat boring. Booked excursions via the boat to KL, Ho Chi Minh and Bangkok as they were so far away and they were well organised but crowded. The rest we got off, booked taxis and had a magnificent time. Malaysia is about £10 per hour for 4 people, Viet Nam /Cambodia £15 and Thailand a bit more so do not waste your money on the excursions in Penang, Langkawi, Sabah, Ko Samui etc.and do not pay $16 each for the transfers. Put it towards the taxi and have 4 hours out in the countryside. Just ensure they speak English.
