i chose this cruise because I was getting off the Miracle 14 day Panama Cruise in Tampa and friends and I rented a car and drove to the Magic to jump on her the same day. I paid for my sister to be in my cabin with me and talked my other sister and her husband into going on this cruise.
Needless to say they all said they would never cruise again after the experience on the Magic.
Sister's Cove Balcony had such a large noise or banging that they could not sleep at night at all. Front desk sent someone and they said it was the waves and that they crew had it a lot worst than they did.
Cabin Review
Interior
Cabin was fine, room steward was wonderful. the smell in the hallway of mold and mildew was so bad. it started on the even side at 2414 and went all the way down to my room 2430. i am allergic to mold and mildew. i reported the smell to the stewards that were in the hallway several times. My steward plus others, even my stewards supervisor. nothing was ever done about it. by day three my sinus were so bad that i could hardly breathe. by day four, i had a sinus infection with a bad cough from drainage. by day five i was in bed most of the time. this was the cruise i booked to take my sister on her first cruise. this was my 11th carnival cruise in 14 months. So, i do not usually complain but this was bad. i complained to every worker who entered our hallway. i was told that it had been reported and a report filed for the smell. other rooms complained of this too. two ladies even said it smelled like something had died it was so bad. mold and mildew. never cleaned up, never a fan placed to remove moisture, nothing was done to fix this problem. Ended cruise on way home on antibiotics, steroid nasal spray and an inhaler. the first inhaler of my life. Had to have it to breathe.
