Azamara Journey goes above and beyond most cruise ships. The staff are so friendly - We love all the question and answer periods with all the officers from the captain down. The food was excellent with lots of variety. There was lots of activities to do onboard if so desired. The ports were interesting especially Perth(Freemantle), Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney. The smaller ports Esperance, Albany, Bunburry had less to do but certainly the Australian people made you very welcome with bands playing when you arrived and lots of info re their port.
The weather could have been better but that certainly is no fault of the cruise line. Yes - it rained in Bali but it is the passengers responsibility, not the cruise ships responsibility, to get to the ship at the start of a cruise and once the cruise is over and you have checked out it is your responsibility to have umbrellas etc. not the cruise ships.
Nice stateroom, small like most cruise ships because it wasn't a suite, bathroom shower is
very small.
