Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

Although we have cruised extensively over the past 30 years, this was our 2nd NCL cruise. We went with a group of about 600+ cruisers and many wonderful Irish singers, dancers and music groups. We spent a couple of days exploring the Cape Canaveral area before the cruise. Our disappointment started before we left when we were told that our "free" beverage package would cost us $99 in service charges. Embarcation was an easy process until we were told that we had to dump 2 bottles of water before boarding. Once we got into our "mini-suite", the disappointment continued. The cabin reminded us more of a trailer than a mini-suite. We ate in the dining room but found the food to be bland, the service slow and nothing came out of the kitchen truly warm. We had similar complaints at the buffet. At O'Sheehan's Pub the food was great. Although you had to walk through the casino to get almost everywhere, the odor of stale smoke in this area was overwhelmingly unpleasant. We did not choose to go on any shore excursions as we had been to these ports several times. We had many great private shows but also did see Priscilla Queen of the Jungle and Burn the Floor. They were both professionally done.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

For a Mini-Suite, our room was small and awkward. There was plenty of storage but the floor plan was tight. The bathroom was split and very tight. It had the feeling of being in a small trailer rather than a Mini-Suite.
