After our last cruise we decided that the older children (24 & 19) should experience cruising. We picked the 4 day Moreton Island cruise for them to try. It was our first time on the Pacific Explorer and we totally enjoyed it. We did experience a blocked toilet on the first morning however one call and we had plumbers there within 5 mins to fix it and we didn't have any further trouble with it. The four of us shared a quad balcony. The room was reasonable but wouldn't want to be in it for a longer cruise. The bathroom was very small with only a tiny area to stand in. Not good when trying to get changed. The facilities on the ship are good and lots of entertainment to choose from. We dined at Angelo's one night and the meal was fantastic. Highly recommend it. The Pantry food was quite good considering it is made for as many people as it is. There are a lot of shore tours to choose from and you need to book them through P&O as there is nothing available to book directly on the island. We did the ATV quad bikes which everyone thoroughly enjoyed, and the sea scooter snorkeling the wrecks which the two children enjoyed but the older two not so much for fear of crashing into the wrecks and being hurt. We purchased tickets ($10 each) for the evening show called 'Love Riot' as I had read good and bad reviews of it. Okay definitely not my cup of tea in fact even the younger two thought it was bizarre. No story line to it, just acrobatics, nudity and dancing. Would not waste my money to see it again. All in all another great cruise with P&O. Everyone enjoyed it. Would i do this trip again YES
Quad balcony room. Needed the balcony for that extra space four people require. Bathroom very tiny which made getting changed hard.
