We thoroughly enjoyed our first proper cruise. We chose this cruise for the intinerary & because it coincided with my husbands 50th Birthday.

We thought Millenium was a great ship, she’s looking a little tired in places & if you really scrutinise her darkest corners I’m sure you’ll find much more wear & tear...but who wants to do that when you’re on holiday? We were happy to take her at face value .

The staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2A

Cabin 2A

The cabin was fine, bigger than we expected & very comfortable. There were a couple of small issues though...

On our first night in Singapore we sat on the balcony before heading off to bed, pulled the door closed to keep any critters out & dicovered the door lock was faulty we were the ones locked out!! Fortunately I had my phone so was able to call Celebrity & ask them to contact the ship & get us let back in. Thank god I had my phone otherwise we’d have been out there all night! A little bit of basic maintenance could have prevented a traumatic half an hour ! Top tip.... check the balcony door with someone on the inside!!

One of our balcony privacy screens was loose & one a couple of nights of sting winds was banging & clattering & kept us awake. This was fixed very quickly after we reported it though..
