I thought the ship was beautiful, I enjoyed the lounge areas on Norweigan Getaway better. We like to party and the ship wasn't laid out as well for that atmosphere, but it was still a great cruise. I like the pools, but they were cold and spilt up into 4 different areas, which is good in a sense, but no main area for the partygoers. I love when the ship has a band centrally located and the party people can gather together, The 2 small bars on the pool deck were kinda boring. Entertainment was amazing especially Oceanaria. Food was not nearly as good as I had on Norweigan, especially the specialty dining. Did not think it was worth the additional expense as the main dining room was just as good. Hibachi was awesome! Gerry our Chef was hilarious! We laughed harder than at the comedy shows. Spa was very nice. Our room was near it and loved the smell every day. We liked our room location on deck 6, so close to 5 where everything is on the Royal Promenade. We used the stairs to help keep active. The elevators can get crowded of course. You have to be 75 lbs to ride zip line, we had to weigh my 72 lb boy with some items to make weight. But he got to do it, it's a very short ride, go when theres no line. Park Café and Solarium were great for breakfast. I stayed away from Windjammer, so much buffet food and crowded, although my daughter loved having the options of the buffet and the food I tried was good. Just too many people hovering over the food stations. Cabin was typical, but bring your own shampoo and conditioner. We did western and loved all the ports of call. Food and drinks are included at Labadee. We did a resort for the day in Jamaica, Hyatt Ziva, we loved it, was all inclusive. We rode ATV's with our kids in Cozumel and got to jump into a cave with bats and crystal clear water, we all loved it. Overall, it was an amazing cruise, but I think I will go back to Norweigan forfor our taste, we liked the layout for evening partying better. Maybe we just had a lot of international and older people for our taste, it was January 28th sailing. I would go again though.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Little tight for 4 people, was odd we didn't have a bunk bed for kids, but a sofa that pulled out into a full.
