As a person with dietary specifications (gluten intolerant & vegan) I was happily surprised by the helpful service of the servers & cooks! I thoroughly enjoyed the food.

The theatre shows were high quality, the facilities luxurious, and I found a book that I've been wanting to read in the onboard library. I also used the gym - enjoying the wonderful view of the ocean! The service was incredible, and the staff work incredibly hard!! I especially want to mention Khumalo and Fredy for their assistance and unending friendliness.

I was extremely disappointed, however, when a child was allowed to cruelly dry out a large sea star, as well as starve out a sea slug in its shell, because 'he wants them as desk ornaments'. We are discouraged from buying curios made from coral or tortoise shell, but cruise staff had no objections against a boy slowly murdering these two sea creatures. Not only is this cruel and misguided, but this boy grows up thinking it's okay to kill and exploit animals!! I would like to see more cruise education and the enforcement of strict rules around conservation.

Portuguese Island

It was an interesting experience, and I loved being on the smaller boats (to get from the ship to the island, as well as on a small speed boat to get to Inhaca island).
