I saved for almost 2 years to do this cruise because of the ports including Antartica. It was such a disappointment because ports were missed due to the mechanical problems this ship, has been experiencing for months. We missed Puerto Madryn completely and never arrived at the Falklands Islands, running a day behind schedule. We were due to arrive at the Falkland Islands on the 30th January, instead nearing the Falklands on the 31st January before hitting 80-90 knots winds therefore abandoning idea of stopping at the Falklands Islands the night prior. Ushuaia, we were due to arrive at 9am and depart at 9.00pm instead arriving closer to 4.30pm on the day, giving us very little daylight for a 4 hour shore tour. We were rushed from the ship to a bus, then herded like cattle on to the End of the World Train, only to find the End of the World Post Office closed on our arrival, and a brief 10 minute stop at the lake, arriving back in Ushuaia town at 8.50pm with shops closing at 9.00pm so I went directly to the ship. Antartica was fogged in until mid-morning but thanks to Captain Francis decision to stay longer passengers were rewarded with spectacular views of the glaciers and ice bergs. The entertainment teams worked wonders to put on extra entertainment and activities since we spent 12 1/2 days at sea of our 14 night cruise. Overall, disappointing because the ports were missed because of the propeller problems that the ship had been experiencing for months. A number of passengers had been advised by private tour operators that these ports were cancelled before the Celebrity Infinity’s departed Buenos Aires yet most of the passengers were informed of Puerto Madryn’s cancellation only. Passengers certainly did not get what’s they paid for ... a very disappointing experience. Yes, many passengers were very angry, demanding compensation, and not just a refund for one missed port of call.

Cabin Review

Cabin Disabled access inside Stateroom

The Stateroom was large and spacious with a roll in bathroom, 2 seater couch, 2 single seats, desk with chair, and a large split bed. Quiet location.
