We have previously travelled on many Celebrity ships and also Victoria and QM2. We loved Victoria and hated QM2; we liked Elizabeth as much as Victoria. They both compare plus/minus with Celebrity. I have to disagree with some of the last few reviews posted. The food was good, service was good, the shows were virtually all good, Speakers were mostly very good. The balcony cabin was very good. The theatre was good. The Art Deco interior design is beautiful. Shore excursions varied but they always do. Embarkation and disembarkation were always good. So what is there to criticise? The temperature control round the ship was much poorer than Victoria and I suspect it was not being managed properly and was generally too cold so take your overcoat around the ship :-). Our cabin thermostat had a mind of it's own and the mid-point was incorrectly set. Our cabin at the front of the ship suffered in the Atlantic storm with constant loud banging with wave movement. Go for mid ships or rear if you can. Wine prices are completely silly so bring your own on board and drink in the cabin. Also Cunard keep pushing champagne.

Balcony

Cabin BB

Good storage. Comfortable bed. Coffee-making facility. Good bathroom/shower design apart from door hangers specially designed to make towels fall on the floor. Large-screen TV. Good Wi-Fi. Not good in rough weather. Air-con mid-point incorrectly set.
